I've looked in more detail at my copy of : Rover 1934-47 P2 Models WORKSHOP MANUAL And on page T22 -1934 10 & 12 HP It shows it as Negative earth Then on T26 -1936 10HP It stipulates Positive earth and says at the foot " chassis No 602,123 onwards . We have found the battery leakage !! It's the windscreen motor which has power going to it even when ignition is off! It doesn't work/operate, but it warm to the touch. Disconnecting the wires solves the battery leakage. But how to remove it for inspection/repair. There doesn't seem to be much info....

The car is NEGATIVE earth. And the workshop manual seems to say it was built like that in 1937.
Is that right? (just checking)
