Hello Derrick,
I too have had a replacement harness from autosparks and was very satisfied both with the quality and service provided. The individual wires and harness have been produced using the original fabric braiding method and looks great too.

Re: big end wear - what is ok?
Hi Neil, Have you made any further progress with the engine as yet? The measured clearances of your mains seem excessive although I don't have a great deal of experience in running an engine in a known similar conidition. My engine is with the engineering shop at the minute having the crank polished...

Re: Passed roadworthy - a reregistered P3 on the road
Hi Neil! Harriet looks super! Thanks for posting the pictures - the car looks good in navy blue with red trim. Interestingly the wooden facia is different from mine; yours, and others that I've seen appear to have an additional wooden finisher to the top edge where mine is simply curved and part of ...

Re: paint for firewall of P3
Hello Adrian, Mine too is un-restored and has the same mottled, mastic based, under-seal type material applied although being a grey vehicle it has been painted over in more of an 'over-spray' type style. This appears to be a factory finish and not the result of later repairs. I cannot help in ident...

Re: Differential upgrade
Hi Dirk, Thank you for your very detailed post. I suspect that I will try out a different differential ratio and see how it goes. I am afraid that it is a tall order to get it on the road for National but I am hoping to get there. What type of brake booster have you fiited? Is it a remote servo simi...

Differential upgrade
Hello all, I wondered what experience folk have had in raising the ratio of their differentials with the standard engine 75 fitted. Dirk, you mentioed that you had done so. Does the vehicle pull adequately on hills and do you find yourself operating at wider throttle openings for longer periods? Is ...

Re: Unleaded Fuel
Dirk, Steve,
Thanks for your comments; I think that I will follow in the same vane in that case.
Dirk; I'm interested in the P5 diff upgrade that you mentioned and have started a new topic to discuss it.
Thank again
