Re: carpet nails and sockets through wooden floorboards

Hi MacKellaich, Thanks for this, My nails were just punched through the carpet so at least I don't have to line up carpet holes with the collets in the floor boards. I have posted photos of mine on my web album which is open to anyone via this link: https://picasaweb.google.com/114458387970529032344...

Re: Tool tray

There were 2 double open ended spanners with "Rover" embossed on one side on ebay last week, one went for £18 the other for £3. I have 4 different spanners, 3 double and one single open ended but I think there may be more with different combinations for various trays. My 1937 10 does not have a tray...

carpet nails and sockets through wooden floorboards

Hi, Has anyone replaced the sockets and colour coded nails which hold the carpet down through the wooden floor boards? I managed to rescue most of the 12 sockets from the original boards when I renewed them but the spare parts list (p82) shows 24 nails and washers (10hp) of which I am short of about...

1937 10 s balljoint part required plus free rover item to fi

Can anyone help me to obtain 4 Brass Oil Retaining Plates under the ball joints inside the rubber cover? This is how they are described in the spare parts list, Plate J, part J61, pages 35 & 36, rover part no. 03440. You may know them by another name. I am also looking for new replacements for the f...

Could anyone please help me with the design, shape and size of the curly brass clip rivetted to the top of the spare wheel cover which is held down by the chrome lever on the body above the cover? In a previous life the cover fell off, as what was holding it on were 2 pieces of brass which may have ...

Re: fuelpump replacement (Rover 10 P2 1946)

Chris, Eric has received the replacement pump in Holland. If you let me have your address I'll send the two brass unions to you. I'm struggling a bit to upload some photos of rover stuff onto photobucket, which i believe is what this forum uses for info transfer, but if you are happy to give me your...

Re: fuelpump replacement (Rover 10 P2 1946)

I have today posted to Holland a replacement for Eric's broken pump.
Now Chris I will contact you with a view to a swop for a couple of small items that you may have in exchange for the brass connectors.
