1 and three quarter P3's for sale
My wife and I are downsizing before moving to the coast so "Harriet" and "Dorothy" are for sale. Harriet is a fully functioning 1949 Rover P3 4-light which has a very interesting history including a spell in England where her owner worked at Harrow school (parking sticker still on windscreen). All o...

Re: New member
Hi Bruce, I also have a P3 4-light which I bought from Melbourne - had it transported to our home here in Murrumbateman NSW. Are you aware of Rove 2014 which is happening in Forbes in September? I'm not able to make it (it's being run by the NSW Rover club) but I'm sure it will be an interesting eve...

Re: Rover P3 75 Spares needed in Australia
Hi, Earlier this year I was in contact with parts suppliers in the UK regarding the parts I needed to rebuild my P3 engine. They advised that when it came to pistons & rings I was best to contact JP Pistons in Australia!! JP are in South Australia so may be very close for your friend. Good Luck Neil...

Re: Rover P3 Sport saloon
Hi Morgan, I live in Murrumbateman (just outside Canberra). I have 2 P3's - a 4-light and a 6-light. The 4-light is running & registered. Really great to hear that you have a P3, the 4-light models are more rare BTW & therefore probably worth more. I'd suggest:- a) contact the NSW rover club & get t...

Re: P3 Windcreen
Hi, I have taken the windscreen out of my P3 4-light because the rubber was perished & there was some corrosion starting around the windscreen. I have the replacement rubber which fits into the chromed windscreen surround (got the rubber from Scotts Old Rubber in Melbourne) - is there a trick to get...

Hi P3steve, Sorry to hear about your wife's leg - my wife just had to have a replacement of her hip replacement - because the 1st one started to leak cobalt - not good for you............... Re: bonnet - removing central chrome strip
Finally managed to separate the bonnet - you were right 47P2 - the rod needs to be pulled out to allow the 2 halves to separate. The rod in my bonnet hadn't moved since 1948 (I think) so was a tad stiff, but an overnight soaking in WD40 helped moved things along a bit. So, I can now supply Trevor Du...

bonnet - removing central chrome strip
Hi, I need to take the top 2 halves of my bonnet apart so that I can send the central chorme strip to another P3 owner here - he is restoring a P3 (good news) and needs the strip. I can't work out how to separate the 2 halves of the bonnet top. I have searched my manuals and this forum (though I may...
