I would guess that I was the first owner registered with the RSR back in 1985. The car was all blue when I got it ( I have a feeling it was originally black)and I put a lot of work into the interior and sunroof area and then repsrayed the bonnet /top half a darker blue. I also saw this on the DVLA website - makes you wonder what is happening to the old car. I've also just remembered that I had a bit of history of it from the 1939/45 years

I early 1980's I rescued a P2 Rover 12 from a scrapyard in Lincolnshire - reg JLT 429. At the time the RSR helped me retain the reg number by identifying it as a very early 1946 model from the chassis plate.
