Re wire wheel repainting. I had my wire wheels shotblasted and powder coated in 1997 and they are still in fine condition. This Rover 14 6 light was restored by an Ian MacFarlane in Giffnock, Glasgow in the 1980s/90s to a very high standard, luckily using the original interior trim. This partly explains the Renfrewshire HS registration number, although Ian did buy it from a family in Stepps on the north side of Glasgow....

We suspect that this Rover drophead coupe is the 16 hp model with registration No (British) HPE842 , chassis No 961218. This was in Aberdeen city, during 1980/81, it was white, and with its original brown leather interior, and fitted with a P4 6 cyl engine.The owner at that time was Cameron Mitchel,...
