six cylinder tourer
Does anyone know the story behind the tourer currently advertised on ebay? Its description is "rover p2 tourer 1939 straight six". It appears to be a pre war chassis with a post war tourer body with the chassis "fully restored" and the body in pieces.

I remember this car well, as I saw it from time to time in Edinburgh(Scotland) when I was at school there in the 1960s. Hello to forum members, I have been in the RSR since 1969 and have three P2s, none alas on the road. My every day car is a 75 estate which I have had since it was eighteen months old and it is still a joy to drive. John Burnett
