Re: SU AUA25 fuel pump location
Hi,
My '46 10 saloon has a electronic fuel pump fitted and It's mounted on the bulkhead. Was fitted when I bought the car. it does the job but does look very prominent.

Spark Plug Choices 1946 10
Hi, I recently picked up some new spark plugs for my '46 10 saloon. Bought them as a service kit from ebay for the model. When I removed my first plug I found my car has NGK BP5ES plugs. I was supplied Champion J8C. No big deal I thought but when I compared the plugs the NGK I have in the car now ha...

Re: Front Spring Orientation - 1946 10 Saloon
Hi, Rod and Mike, thanks very much for the information, Invaluable! I have also found a reference in a 1946 publication that states "all centrebolts offset to the front" so longer end to the rear has now been corroborated by three sources so thats great stuff. Thanks Rod for taking the time to go ou...

Front Spring Orientation - 1946 10 Saloon
Hi, Looking for some help. I've had to replace the front road springs on my 1946 10 Saloon as they failed the MOT due to some cracked leaves. I have just got them back from the restorer and am about to re-fit. Now comes the problem! when I took the springs off I labelled which end of the spring was ...

Re: Wanted Boot Badge and Autolube parts '46 P2
Hi Chris,
Sounds good. I'll pick myself up a spare grease gun and see how I get on. Intend to check out each lube point and see how much oil is getting through after a few pumps of the gun.
Thanks again
Nigel

Re: Wanted Boot Badge and Autolube parts '46 P2
Hi chris My 46 10 saloon appears to have all of the autolube tubing and meter valves intact but is unfortuately missing the reservoir and pump assembly. On the engine bay bulkhead I've been left with the last union with a grease nipple attached. I'm assuming the previous owner either pumped oil thro...

Re: Wanted Boot Badge and Autolube parts '46 P2
Hi Gerry, Your car looks lovely with only a few things to do! Wish I could say that about mine! I have a few tasks before I'm happy with mine. I would be very interested in your autolube system. Basically most of my pipework is intact right up to the bulkhead where it should join the reservoir. The ...

Thanks Mike, Is there any way of contacting the previous owners? or is it tied up with data-protection?
