Re: direction (turn) indicators.
Hello, I fitted self flashing bulbs from dynamoregulatorconvertions.com. They're a direct replacement for the festoon bulb fitted in your trafficators. They're LED but I found this far more preferable than adding lights. It keeps the originality more intact. Much more visible than non flashing. I've...

Re: Dark Grey/Dove Grey Paint Colour
Hi Chris, According to some information I've found here http://www.roverp4.com/paintschemes.htm, the P4 of 59/60 came in either Dove Grey over Smoke Grey or Light Grey over Dove Grey. Both Dove Grey and Smoke Grey seem to be quite dark colours and looking at a photo of your P4 it seems to be quite l...

Re: Rear Spring shackle
Many thanks for confirming this Luli. I must confess that I hadn't doubted the fitting until I saw another 37 10 that had the lower bolt with the head on the outside. I guess I should look at the fitment of the rear wing to see why it's coming into contact with the nut. I know that there is some deg...

Rear Spring shackle
Hello all, Hope you've all had a good summer of Rovering! The picture is of my rear off-side spring shackle. (1937 model 10hp saloon.) I have a query regarding the lower nut. I think it should be on the inside of the shackle because the nearside shackle lower nut will sometimes foul on the rear wing...

Re: Rear engine/gearbox mount
Many thanks Vince and Chris, I thought it was probably possible. I was trying work out how much time I needed! I get the dreaded clutch judder if I'm nothing but very careful and while I realise I probable will have to get to the clutch to check the toggle lever adjustment and the plate for signs of...

Rear engine/gearbox mount
Hello,
Can anyone tell me whether it's possible to change the rear engine/gearbox mount (the big rubber block) without removing the gearbox entirely? The car is a '37 model 10hp saloon.
Many thanks.

Luggage net and rear sun blind
Hello all. Just got Audrey my 1936 ('37 model) 10hp saloon out from her winter hibernation. Started first turn of the key after a little hand turn to get the oil flowing. Looking forward to another year of motoring and fettling. Can any one suggest anywhere to get a reproduction of the luggage net m...

Re: my rover needs new tyres
Hello and welcome,
I've recently used Longstone tyres (www.longstonetyres.co.uk) and found them to be good on price and very quick delivery. They specialise in tyres for vintage and classic cars.
Hope this helps.
