Looks like the easest way of mininising and scratches on the selverd reflectors is to use Tarn-Off, Tarn-x is the same thing. I have a set of headlights from a P3 that I will use to find th...

best way to store & clean the silver on headlights

Having just had my mid 30s car headlights restored I need to find a way of keeping them safe and sound from the humid weather we sometimes get here in Perth West Oz. A year or so ago I had a set of headlights and spotlights from my Rover P2 re-chromed and silvered. I stored these wrapped in tissue p...

Re: Body design 1932 10

Hello Rob, I'm doing more or less the same down here in Oz. The following are my Tips. First sit back and think of what you yourself are capable of doing. From that you can make a list of what you need to farm out. By doing this it will help with getting an idea of cost and what you expect from the ...

Oils ain't Oils

Hi Chaps, The subject line should say ‘oils ain't what they used to be’ but thought I would use the catch phrase from an old Ozzy commercial for my question. I’m getting to the stage of the Rover special build where I’m shortly going to start filling the back axel, steering box, gearbox and engine w...

P2 1947 16HP engine mods.

Morning All I’m just about to start the rebuild of a 47 16 HP engine and hope a few of you may be able to help with a few modifications. I would like to re-profile the cam, not by much just something to give it a bit better performance or something in keeping with the type of sports special it is. I...

As I said in the other post have a look at a P4 set up. They did make them with disc from the early 60. Thats what I'm looking at.

Re: P2 Suspension for the Kitcher

Hi P2V8, With a moniker like that I think I would like to see your car. Any chance you could send in photos or send to my email (den@aachenkennels.com). Although I'm not into hot rods as such I do like the idea of retro fitting cars ( there is a good magazine out with that name) and like you believe...
