Re: Early brakes

Thanks for the reply - a 75 I believe. That's a shame, I thought perhaps they would fit as I know a lot of the parts did go over from the P3 into the early Land Rover and P4s.
Thanks anyway Mike!

Early brakes

Afternoon, does anyone know if the brakes on the early P4s are the same as what were fitted to the P3s? Someones given me some P4 brake shoes but I don't know if they'd fit. Would any shoes from the early P4s work - and if so which - 60? 75? Thanks in advance.

Re: Rover P3 '48/49

At £9750 this car if true to it's listing on Car and Classic looks good. Lot of work gone on it. Need to assess the micro-blistering on the paint and how much it bothers you - depends what you want the car for. If it does bother you, you'll have to take a respray price into account if and when you m...

Re: Rover P3 '48/49

Sorry I didn't see this post earlier! :) I wonder who the new owner is? EU 9404 will have to look out for it. That's what I thought - for £12,000 it should have been in near-perfect condition. If you can buy off a seasoned Rover owner seems the best way of getting a car in decent nick.

Wanted - P3 fuel filler neck

Fuel filler neck - part just below filler cap - on our 1949 P3 has a hole in it. Anyone know where I can source this from? Thanks!

Hi Tom Welcome to the club...we're in North Suffolk so quite near you! We're in the process of restoring our 1949 P3. A long process - have had to move restorers twice and even then the second one didn't get it on the road - our local mechanic is now in charge of it. So if you want any advice on any...
