Luvax nuts
Greetings. I have recently renewed/replaced just about every single part of my Luvax system. I need just three or four of the female threaded nuts to finish, part number 41410. Some areas of the Luvax were missing when I bought the car including these few nuts. If anyone has some of these they would...

10hp Autosparks wiring loom (new).
I have a new wiring loom for a 1947 10 purchased from Autosparks in 2015 and never fitted. I want to change my original plans and fit another new one with armoured metal conduits where required. This new loom still in the box comes with extra wiring for an accessory socket on the dash, and also wiri...

Re: Luvax-Bijur lubrication system
I'm currently renewing the whole system. David Mosely advertises in Freewheel and is going to manufacture the new conduits. He will need your old brass finials and can offer replacements in brass or stainless steel.

Re: 3500s from Surrey here.
I'm in Camberley if you are anywhere near? I've had many Rovers including 2 P6, a 2200 and a 3500S. Many P4s which I really enjoyed and now a P2 1947 10hp under restoration.
My postman lives a few streets away and has a 3500, probably auto.

Brakes
I'm guessing that I'll find asbestos brake linings in the drums of my 10hp. It has been off the road for years.
I'm sure modern brake linings are of some other material but now should I put a mask on when taking my brakes apart?

Re: Coach Lines
I am just thinking about the coach line I will be requiring when my 10hp restoration is finished. I've got a way to go but always thinking ahead.

On the hunt
I parted with my beautiful pastel blue 1954 90 in 2011. Almost immediately I regretted it. So with Rover radar I located a P2 and bought it, and I'm very happy with it indeed. But I'm feeling that I want a P4 again. It will have to be a 60 or a 105R. There are reasons why I need the lighter steering...

Re: Unleaded.
I've heard many times that these old Rover engines are fairly indestructible and will run with adjustments no matter what quality of petrol is used. This has been the case with the various P4s I've owned over 30 years. But were our prewar engines really designed with enough foresight to cope with un...

Sills,step brackets
Planning to fit new sills to my 1947 10hp very soon. I think I've got everything. One query - the parts book says the step bracket to chassis bolts should be 5/16 x 7/8. I couldn't find that size exactly. Can anyone tell me if 5/16 x 1in would be close enough, or too big? I could always grind 1/8in ...
