Armstrong Front shocks
Hi I've inherited a pair of new Armstrong shock absorbers (and other misc P6 bits). Usual story, they came with a P6 as spares, the cars long gone and the bits sat in the back of the garage for year untill a clear out. So they look like P6 front shocks, but I can't be sure. I've tried looking for a ...

Re: 1936 14hp. Procedure to remove front wing.
Thanks Tony Basicly I was concerned I would be pushing and pulling on a "stuck" wing only to find a hidden bolt after I had bent or broken something ! (im sure weve all been there). Hopefully it will be as straightforward as you initially made it sound. The car has been restored in the past and has ...

Hi Guys

Re: Radiator Cap
It was like it when I bought the car, but after looking at it it looks harder to fix than I first assumed
. I shall have another look at the cap, I must admit I have not found how to adjust the cap yet, but nice to know you can, easier than adjusting the radiator mounting !
Cheers

Radiator Cap
The raised ridge on the radiator cap does not centre with the bonnet centre, it's not a straight line it's about 10 degrees out, ie at 11 o'clock.
This is very annoying! Is there a easy way to adjust this, or do I really have to move the radiator ?

Re: What modern oils and greases do I use ?
Thank you DB. Still not sure what gear oil to use, expect it to be a 90 grade ? Worried that EP additives in all the modern oils will damage bronze bushes, copper etc although people say gl4 spec is safe in the post 60'subject classic world for use with synchromesh gearboxes. I will check out Penrit...
