Re: Rover P3 with unusual boot lettering

I haven't ever seen that before. Somehow just doesn't seem quite right to me.

Re: Air Filters

Hi Adrian, Sorry for the delayed response, had a busy weekend. I have just checked in the MG Rover parts book which I have got (effective from Aug 2004) which only lists two air filters, PHE100460 for all petrol models and PHE100500 for the diesel. Going by that it would suggest that there is only o...

Re: P4 Radial tyre pressures

Hi Adrian,
I tend to run my Cyclops on around 30 -32 all round, and ran my 80 on about the same, probably nearer the 32 on that thinking about it.

Re: Range Rover L322

Some great pictures there John. It is good to know that the more recent LR products can still do their stuff - looks like a really nice RR you have got. Have to say that I am glad that I finished replacing the rear crossmember on my LR 90 CSW last month - I missed having an LR on the road last winte...

Re: P3 wheels and stud spacing

Hi Andrew,
I think I have sent you a PM about these, though it appears to still be in my out box. Please let me know if it doesn't arrive.
Thanks
Paul

Re: hi just bought a 1948 p3

Hello John, Welcome to the club and forum, and to the joys of owning a P3. Which model have you got? 4 or 6 light, 60 or 75? I own a 1948 4 light 75. Ann-Marie Rowland, the pre-P4 librarian has instructions / details about the refurbishment of the sliding roof which. These are likely to provide suff...

Re: Hello

Hi Dean, Thanks for the list of vehicles, hope your hunt for a P2 and sale of the RX8 go well. I think there are relatively few 60's around, and of course yours being a '55 crossover model must make it fairly unusual. I've run an 80 in the past, and run a Cyclops these days...along with a few other ...

Re: enthusiastic new P2 owner

Hello Tony, Welcome to the forum, I hope you enjoy the P2. There is a wealth of experience to draw on via the forum and through the club so I am sure you will be able to get help / advise when you need it. Hopefully there will be someone not too far away from you though I cannot suggest who I'm afra...

Re: Hello

Hi there,
Welcome to the forum. Sorry I am not aware of a cure for the Roverholic disease...I am severely afflicted myself. So, which modern Rove have you got, and which P4 do you have? Are you looking for older or newer to add to the collection?

Re: Back in the saddle - or seat!

Hello Will, Welcome along, good to see another P3 owner surfacing. On the assumption that your P3 is a 75 and you are wanting to convert to twin carbs you are likely to need to get a head from a pre '53 P4 75 as the head and manifold are all cast as one. You cannot just change an inlet manifold. You...
