Re: Chassis number

Hi Steve, Yes that should be the chassis number - the P3 workshop manual says that it is the car number and that also matches the chassis number. The Chassis No. should also be stamped on the chassis on the top near the front off side...but I suspect that will be very difficult to see. As yours is a...

Re: hi im new here

Hi Martin,
Good to hear that you have purchased the P3 we discussed briefly on the P4DG site. Welcome along to the RSR, and to the exclusive club of owners of all 3 model types of 75! Would be good to see some pictures of both your P3 and Cyclops if / when you get the chance.
Regards
Paul

Re: Front Wheel Wobble

I recently found that my shimmy had started to come back, even though the car had only done relatively few miles (hundreds rather than thousands). Considering that it had been sitting idle, there shouldn't have been enough use to cause wear in components and that there wasn't sufficient time for rub...

Re: Hello from Somerset

Hello George, Welcome along to the forum. I take it from your message that you have a 'modern' 75, which model is it? There are certainly an increasing number of people in the Register who do have them, certainly a classic of the future. I'm certainly a big fan of them, having been running them for ...

Re: Rover P4 diffs

Hi Andy, The majority of P4's have a 4.3:1 ratio diff but there are some with 3.9:1 (non overdrive 90's and all 95's) and I think that some 60's were fitted with 4.7:1. The 4.7:1 was also fitted to the majority of Series 1, 2 & 3 Land Rovers I believe that in general the P5 also had 4.3:1 but again ...

Well the site it was advertised on now says that it has been sold. I hope the new owner is a member of the RSR and enjoys using it. It certainly looked like a really nice car.

Re: 1934 Speed 14 Tourer for sale

Seems a lovely looking car to me, I am certain it featured in / on a fairly recent issue of Freewheel. I wish I could find the space in the garage for it, but as some others already know I can't even get all of my existing fleet home at the moment. I have to admit finding a suitable pot of gold to c...
