Re: New member Christina Bodén
Hi Christina Thanks for car details unfortunately it has never been in the RSR so cannot help with the name of the 2 lads but have now added it to the database under your name with your historical information. The chassis number confirms it is a 1934 Rover 14, and the Registration prefix GL was issu...

Re: New member Christina Bodén
Hi there Christina A very interesting post. I maintain the RSR pre 1950 archive database and it is quite possible there may be some history on your 1934 Rover 14. To check on the database I will need either the British registration number or the chassis number, the chassis number should be on a smal...

Re: 1936 Rover 10 JU 9351
Hi there Phil This car is known to the RSR and it is a rare woody estate and is in fact an 1937 model probably registered in late 1936. According to the RSR archives it was first in the Register in in 1980 when owned by a member in Skegness, and there was a picture and article in Freewheel 220 of Ap...

Re: Rover P1 [P2?]
Hi there Chassis no 612955 has never been in the RSR, but who knows it may be lurking around somewhere out there!!! so according to the RSR pre 1950 database chassis no 612954 is currently the last known 1936 Rover 12. As already mentioned by others there has been contention for many years over the ...

Re: Strange grease nipple
Hi Again Stewart I just had a quick search on ebay for 'tool storage clips' and it threw up a large selection of what seems to be called 'Terry Clips' varying in size from 9mm to 55mm. These are exactly like the clips on the bulkhead, you will only require 2 and size will depend on the size of the b...

Re: Strange grease nipple
Hi Stewart, No problem sending you a photo but when I went yesterday to take a photo of the one on my 1933 10 spcl found battery on camera flat (from lack of use!!!). Am off to Whitley Bay shortly for a few days for a family funeral but will endeavour to get a photo off to you sometime next week. Re...

Re: six cylinder tourer
Hello there According to the RSR archive database which I maintain this 1947 12 tourer with registration HOW 143 has been in the RSR on and off since 1979 with 4 different owners until 2005 when it was bought by a chap in Newcastle who never joined the RSR. The first owner back in 1979 advised it ha...

Re: Strange grease nipple
Hi Stewart Tecalmet grease guns were supplied with most of the 1933 models and secured to the front bulkhead of the car. That particular 'nipple' you mention is where you slot the greasing end, the part at the end of the flexi tube that slides over the cars grease nipples. There should also be 2 cli...
