Thank you Tony. I’m tending to go the way of Speedo fault but as I’m about to lift the carpets to check the gearbox oil level I’ll check cable as well.

Thank you Tony. I’m now firmly of the opinion that I was being over cautious in topping up the radiator when it was not necessary to do so. Hopefully now found right level for expansion.. Radiator water overflow
Just back from a short 10km trip and noticed quite a bit of water pouring out of a narrow pipe underneath engine of my 47P2 16hp. My initial reaction was that this is due to water expansion from a hot radiator but with engine still running the radiator top is not too hot to touch it really gets hot ...

The glass pane has come off its two sliders of the quick lifter. I have removed the glass and cleaned out the metal slider attached to the glass. Just Noticed your blog. Suggest you take the thread bare strap to a Saddler and get to make another using the one that needs residing
as a template. I did with mine and he matched perfectly.
