The next thing for me to consider is the refurbishment of the head lamps on the tourer. Anyone with advice please.

I matched the body colour and sprayed the grille fins as they were hand painted and looked a mess. It has been well received by the local vintage and classic car crowd.
Personal choice for each person I think.

The car restoration by the previous owner was bodged in many areas, autolube being 1 of them, copper brake pipes with hoses and jubilee clips is not the best looking set up. If you had a look at it on my car you would know what I mean. I am happy to grease once a year then I know it's lubricated.

Just testing,
I bought some straight and 45' angled 3/8 BSF nipples from a seller on ebay and it greases up well.
Oil is moving in some places, but not to the steering where I was more concerned. At least I KNOW it is now lubricated.

It is such a shame, I thought I had a nice restored clock coming my way.
Have to keep looking, hopefully one will come to the market place sometime soon.

I do try and keep an eye on ebay, bit of a rare item to find I think.

I am looking for a working clock for my tourer if there is one for sale.
