The water pump auto-lubrication had been disconnected by a previous owner. In view of your comment (and my question(!) I will put a line in from the system (now I know it works!) I have a suitable spare meter valve. Meanwhile a bit of benign neglect will continue! Now about the prop shaft & UJ's. .....

I have for sale a pair of virtually new Excelsior cross ply tyres Bought in Germany in June this year. They were an emergency purchase after I had two older tyres suffer punctures within 3 hours!
