I thought that these two cars coming up for auction on the 13th of June might be of interest with the estimate for the first being £5000 - £7000 and £8000 - £10000 for the second.

I know nothing about the car, have never seen it in the metal and this post is just to flag it up as "possibly interesting"
The second is this 16-50, apparently having been "purchased by the Rover Company in 1972 (so BLMC days) and placed in their museum" (Gaydon)

It sounds quite interesting with its head design and there's a nice photo of it on page 51 of Eric Dymock's book, but the results on both will make interesting reading, as usual. Maybe slightly unhelpfully , prewarcar.com have headlined these as "Strange Rovers". I think their intention was "Unusual" rather than "Strange", but who knows.
