1934 Rover 12 dash switches

Does anyone know ,how to remove the fog/pass light switch on the dash Ive managed to pull the dash forward enough to see the pass light switch and measure with a meter,but its faulty I cant see how to remove the switch Normally,there are two slots on the front chrome ring to turn and remove but not on this

Morning,I undid the dash,but could only pull it forward a couple of inched.So I was unable to see the back of the switch,I manage to get my meter probes onto it,which showed it wasn`t working .Strange,since its such a simple switch Len

I think you will find its secured by a brass nut behind the metal dash panel. Just a thought as it is just a simple switch, would spraying switch cleaner on the switch clean the contacts?

Since I have to try to undo the switch by feel,as I cannot see it properly,have you any idea what size spanner is needed.Rather than trying to get a spanner to fit blind Len
