The turning circle to the left on my 1939 14 is excellent. However to the right it is appalling. A quick glance underneath shows the right-hand end of the track rod is coming up against the leaf spring and stopping the steering from reaching full lock. That can't be right can it? Any advice is very welcome, but keep it simple!
It doesn't stop me using the car, it is just one of the things that need sorting at some point.

I hope you have the parts list. Look at plate L. 87, the steering drop link, is not fixed correctly, and the result is that 45, the drag link, is too long. Remove the drop arm, set it some 20 degrees counter clockwise to where it is now, and re-adjust the drag link length.

Thanks. No I don't have a parts list. Will need to find out which bit is drag link, drop link, drop arm etc. Sorry for my ignorance
