I can also report that the ride with or without the front harmonic stabiliser is exactly the same...that includes going over some uneven roads. One of those early theories that are not based on fact ! I have been taking GEV ( 1938 10 ) out without the front bumper and the transverse leaf springs, then completed the same run with all refitted, no difference noticed whatsover.

Hi Chris.
The stabilisers were fitted to lots of makes of car from cheap to Rolls/Bentley,
they were to take the (jerckiness) out of engine/chassis movement when car was stood still.
