I’d suggest checking with specialists like SNG Barratt or similar, as they should have info on vintage threads. For the exhaust, there are a few good places that cater to classic cars. I'd recommend The Leaping Cat or Falcon Exhausts

Thanks. I'll see if my local exhaust fabricator will do it first. They make all sorts from scratch, mild or stainless. The last time I was there a Lamborghini was having some fancy back boxes fitted that they had made yet they were happy to make a silencer for my 1967 Austin 1100 in stainless. A decent price too. One advantage is that being local if there are any issues it's easy to get sorted.
