P2 Paint colours options

Hi. Does changing the exterior colour of my 39 P2 project have a detrimental effect to the potential value of this restoration ? The factory colour is black with blue interior on doors and brown upholstery. I'm thinking maroon as an external colour and wondered if any Member could enlighten me with a colour shade in some way, ie, dark maroon or would the colour have been a lighter shade? Is there a colour chart link somewhere? Happy restoration times this winter!

If the paint job is done to a high standard using an original period colour I can only see it helping with the value
Sorry I can't help with a colour chart but someone who knows should be along soon to give advise
