my first post as I'm restoring my 1947 Tourer after having it for 45 years !!!! I want to rechrome handbrake lever but can't dismantle it. I have unscrewed the black plastic handbrake grip but it doesn't pull off ! Does the plunger have to be unscrewed to allow the grip to be removed ?
I don't want to force anything so any help would be appreciated

many thanks for your reply I eventually worked it out for myself earlier today !!!
