1937 Rover 12 - Wiper Arms

The wiper arms on my 1937 Rover 12 when parked currently point towards the nearside (passenger side), i.e. both in the same direction. In fitting new wiper arms I tried to remedy this so that they park, as I believe they should, i.e. both pointing away from the centre of the car......but to no avail. So is there a need to adjust something within the wiper motor?

Both arms pointing to passenger side is correct. The original linkage is very simple and both arms move in the same way when the wiper gearboxes are engaged.
Has a previous owner fitted another system?
If you remove one of the inspection covers on the bulkhead, using a mirror, you should be able to see the linkage

All sorted now, linkage adapted.
