bargain or not a 1947 rover12 for £750

with the car i also had spare seats engine gearbox full set of new carpets lights clutch kits doors wings manuals and boxs of other spares also a nearley new sip topmig 150 mig welder so did i get a bargain or not here is a link to some pics of the car

Definitely a bargain - but you'll be needing that MIG! A sports-saloon too, which is a nice looking car, and on wire wheels.

Good compared to what mine looked like 10 years ago - good job Mike Evans had some decent new sills/running boards and Mike Couldry quite a few other bits.
I have still to sort the doors out and mine being prewar (16) have timber frames.
I have other problems with it for now though which I hope to report on very soon

It is a for sure a bargain
With a lot of time you will fix it and the MIG will be used a lot.
I know what you think. Mine was in a better state and I had to think If I should do it. And I did still under construction but hopefully end 2013 on the road.
If you have some spare part over, please let me know

hi all thanks for your comments about the car i have started to strip it down the chassis is good it only looks like the bodywork is in need of attenion havent started the engine yet but have turned it over so hopefully will have it done in a few months or is that wishfull thinking (lol) i may have some spare parts after i have finished will keep you all informed
