Chassis number
Just a quick one, the plate on the scuttle that says 1949 model and a number - is that the chassis or body number? if its the body number then where is the chassis number?

Re: Chassis number
Hi Steve,
Yes that should be the chassis number - the P3 workshop manual says that it is the car number and that also matches the chassis number. The Chassis No. should also be stamped on the chassis on the top near the front off side...but I suspect that will be very difficult to see. As yours is a '49 model it should start 941... for a 6 light or 943... for a 4 light assuming it is a 75 rather than a 60.

Re: Chassis number
Its a four light 75 and the number is 9432076 which is right for the model, thanks Paul
