Hello All,
Somehow I have manged to loose the all important interanl part to my P3 petrol cap. I am in need of a picture of the P3 inside of the cap and in particular the latching disc or clamp. I don't mean the little push latch on the outside I am in need of a picture of what it latchs to. Hopfully with this I can find the offending part.
Thanks for all for the help

Re: HELP! P3 petrol cap picture needed
Dirk,
Finally got out to the garage this evening to take a couple of pictures for you. They are not very good, but it was rather dark in the back corner of the garage and I couldn't see what I was taking apart from when the flash went off. Hopefully they are good enough for what you need, but if not let me know and I'll try again!
Regards
Paul

The catch looks identical the that used again on Mk3 P5's and P5B's - strange they dispensed with them on P4's and early P5's and hidden them both underneath flaps.
The 1939 models and before had a much simpler affair - twist bayonet cap type and probably off the shelf Wilmot Breedon?

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the pictures! They are what I need to find the misplaced inner catch. For soem reason I did not put it with the filler neck parts.
Thanks
