Cross Tube and Shackle Assembly

Has anybody on the planet engineered part number 216801 (Shackle Cross-tube complete) please?

I am at a crossroads with my newly acquired 1948 P3 75 which is in such excellent and all original condition. I have decided to bite the bullet and renew the 70 year old wiring loom, dynamo and upgrade to flashing indicators 'BUT' There is a repair to the cross tube so I believe replacing it would be sensible while the car is on the ramp so to speak. Does anybody know where on the planet this assembly can be acquired? Surely with it being so vulnerable and critical, some clever engineer has produced the goods?
