New battery for my 75 P3

Post by Graham » Tue Feb 05, 2019 3:13 pm

Can anybody help me with the specification for a modern battery that would suite P3 75? I'm thinking lead/acid not space age.
Thanks

Graham

Hi Graham,

You probably don’t need anything bigger than a 60Ah. The key thing is the physical dimensions. If you measure up your battery tray and take account of height, the best place to get one Is Eurocarparts. Look on their website and click on batteries- your reg no won’t help! If you select a battery and scroll down all the dimensions are given. Just a matter of working through and finding the best fit. Usually a discount code on the site, which you apply at the checkout stage. No need to pay on line unless you want delivery as you can pick up from one of their stores.

Hope that helps.

Do not bother with premium batteries as if not in regular use they do not last as long as budget ones. I get at least 10+ years
