Although my British Jaeger watch in the P4 has already been serviced once, it keeps stopping now.

Are there any specialists who have solved this vexing contact problem once and for all?

Are there any alternatives available that look very similar?

Would it be possible to fit an older mechanical watch instead?

Carl Haworth was the expert with P2 clocks, not sure if he is still around though

Hello
Clocks4classics have developed an electronic module which replaces the original contact with an optical pick-off. I fitted one of their kits to the clock in my P2 some years ago and it’s still working well.
You can get details from their website clocks4classics.com
Hope that’s helpful, Dave
