I converted an auto 3500 in the 70's. It had a Jaguar all synchro gearbox mounted to a modified auto bellhousing. 3500s clutch master cylinder and pedal, and originally a P6 2000 diff (dunlop brakes),but this broke so a Jaguar limited slip diff from a Mk 10 (from memory) was fitted to a new crossmember and the driveshafts were shortened to suit.
It ended up doing rallycross after I sold it.
