The alternative view is that it is a derivative of the Rover 75, and ZTs are very welcome at RSR events.

It is also now possible for a ZT or ZT-T to win the award for best in class which is now Rover 75/MGZT, how good is that.
Looks like the grilles have been painted body colour, it looks good and different, possibly what i like about it. Most go for stainless.
As for classed as a Rover, almost all 75 clubs are 75/ZT, well MG Rover, goes together like Laurel and Hardy
I have known a few people change a 75 into a ZT and vice versa by changing bits over
