' Nesthill ' Pipe clips

I am a stickler for finding modern companys or outlets that I can source products that I can purchase or adapt to recreate an original ( possibly unavailable ) item.

I have been in conversation with a company ARP Ltd, based in Poole , Dorset who manufacture items for vintage austins. When I bought ' Snowdrop ' in 1980, she came with one original ' Nesthill ' pipe clip, the rest were modern jubilee hose clips. I did find modern repro Nesthill clips at Paul Becks, in brass. They are pretty much ok.

I visited ARP Ltd, Unit 29, Glenmore Business Park, Blackhill Road, Holton Heath, Poole, Dorset, BN16 6NL. www.austinrepro.com , his modern repro Nesthill clips are really a ' cut above ' . I purchased a full set for Snowdrop. The clips are inscribed with the correct namestyle and imperial sizing..truly impressed.. There were also other items for my MG ' hat '..thats another story.

I also purchased an early style ' tax disc holder ' ..another beauty..with the withdrawal of tax discs soon, keeping a tax disc in view will surely become a ' vintage ' accessory.
