Hello, This is a photo taken at Wentworth Woodhouse Yorkshire. If anyone has read the book Black Diamonds by Catherine Bailey they may remember a page describing how Earl Fitzwilliam drove around Wentworth village in a green open top car chatting up the local young ladies.
This is I am sure is that car. It was supposed to be for the use of the gamekeepers my father "pictured" was the only keeper that could drive and chauffeured the head keeper around the estate on the occasions the Earl hadn't taken it.
Does anyone have any idea what model it is? I've asked Rover owners over the years but have been unable to get any info.
Thanks
Bill

Didn't expect a reply, bit gob smacked I have not been able to find anything about it googling, asking collectors etc. Came to the conclusion it was just a bit of a one off.
Tried YouTube got a load of boats.
Having now plugged in Rover 9/20 got some images and info, your right.
Very grateful.
Thanks, Bill.
