Online Membership Renewal
Just renewed my membership via the online option but was suprised not to find an option to add the details of the cars i own. Unlike the snail mail form option which gives you a space to put these in the online version doesn't...or did I miss something?

-- no you are not missing anything. There is a section for car details on the form for new subscriptions, not for renewals. Looking at the returns form the forms it is very unusual for any car details to be added on renewals. However this can be easily changed . We have only been using paypal for a few months so still seeing what the uptake is and what comments we collect.
In the meantime if you have any changed details of car etc please use the contact form on the web site which is read by the club and the changes can be made.
Thanks for using our new system.

Re: Online Membership Renewal
....... on reflection it probably would be a good idea to have a section for details of cars and/or comments -
in fact since my last post I have added one, people can always ignore it if they wish.
Thanks for the idea and the feedback

Hardly worth bothering about as I have been adding my car details since joining in 2003 and they still don't appear in the year book.partviking wrote: but was suprised not to find an option to add the details of the cars i own.

Re: Online Membership Renewal
Thank you for the information Paul and for the change. It was actually the members list I was thinking of as i know a brief synopsis of members cars are listed.

The reverse side of the snail mail renewal does ask for particulars of members cars, and the pre 1950 registrar sends them on to me to update the pre 1950 archive database. I mentioned this in the October FW particularly asking members to make a special effort this year to update their cars/condition when renewing.
Therefore I am pleased you have amended the online renewal form, however I would like to receive copies of any on line renewals so as to be able to update their car records, I assume they will come to me via the pre 1950 Registrar along with the snail mail ones??
Would appreciate confirmation of my assumption!!!!
