Following my research into ' Denzel ' I wrote to a previous owner of ' Denzel '....Mr. E. Bowman ( who advertised it for sale in Freewheel ) who lives in Scotland , he very kindly sent me a reply, copy ....

"Dear Chris,

Sorry cannot help you in any history, I had a 1935 Rover 10 AV 6619 ( enclosed photo ), your one I had for spares, but never needed it. The road past our house was under construction, one of the lad's, The foreman actually was speaking to me and saw it in the garage, he wanted to buy it to restore, it dose not look like he did, Hope you have more luck, as you see the picture I was quite young, I am now 79, all the best

PS I found old registration book may be of some interest. Yours faithfully E. Bowman ( Signed )

.....So I have an early photo of Rover 10 1935 AV 6619, I will send a copy to ' Freewheel ' in my next bit of editorial, is the car still around ?..if so would the owner like a copy of the photo..I will return the original to Mr. Bowman.

I also have the green (cancelled) registration book for JB 6729 dated between October 1966 to September 1967...the old book retained by the council, kindly donated to me by Mr. Bowman.
