Hello and welcome to the forum.

I am currently restoring a 1929 2L Coachbuilt saloon, there are some pictures in the Vintage section of this forum. Would love to chat about these fine cars.

Hi, yes I have some photos off my car at different stages. As soon as I get them together ill put them up.
Yes Paul I had a look at the photos of your car, thats what made me join this forum so we can share our restorations. My car
is a 2ltr. The chassis no is 5728. body no is 23244.and the engine no is 5761s.I brought the car back in 1972,at that stage the car only needed the motor rebuilt and the front and rear gaurds panel beated, but as time went on the body started to sag, looking into this I found the front and back part of the frame was completly rotted out ,it was that bad it had news paper stuffed into the gaps and covered with the new vynal outer cover. The front door pillers where nailed togeather too hold them togeather then wraped with tape and then covered.
Now I have fram all done and engine done, new tyres just ready to put the out side fadric on now, All the interer wood is done and restored, just started door panels and seats, the new flooring is done as well.
Well thats about it . Paul do you have an email addres. Cheers Gerry
