I am going to buy a rover 1.4 25sei, its BR green. the registration docs state it is silver yet it is green,the seller says this is common for rover to do this,as they paint all their cars silver then spray them later? Is this true or am I being conned?

It's possible if the green is a light colour. I was looking at a Toyota today and the registration document stated silver but I would have said it was green

Hi Welcome to the forum. I've replied to your question in the other thread that you have started, but as a quick response here I don't believe the story and would be extremely cautious about this car. Let us know how you get on with your potential purchase.
