Hi Raf,
having had a look at your pictures I think you do have a Rover 60 engine from a P4. Below is a video posted on youtube of a scrap P4 60 with the engine being removed. It may confirm what yours is.

Hi Raf,
I agree with Paul, also the brass plate near the dipstick is often an indication of a reconditioned engine. So although I'm guessing, it could be that your car had a factory reconditioned engine as a replacement, gaining the full flow oil filtration of the then current P460 in the process
Best regards

Re: Hello everyone.Who can help to recognize engine in my P3
Sorry to cast doubt over the diagnosis so far, but I suspect it to be a Land Rover engine, though it is difficult to be certain from the photos. The proof will be in the material the head is made from. If it is an alloy head it will be from a P4 60. If it a cast iron head then it will be from a land rover - almost certainly a 2ltr unit from a Series 1 LR. Photo 4 make it look like it is cast iron. Putting a 60 head on an LR engine (in an LR) used to be a popular upgrade to increase power. The basic engine is pretty much the same, so the head swap was an easy thing to do.
The carb appears to be either a zenith or a solex, again hinting at an LR unit, although it could also just have been transferred from the original P3 engine. The P4 60 would have an SU as standard.
I certainly agree that the brass plate would suggest that it is a factory rebuilt unit.
If you can provide an an engine number I will have a look in some documentation to see if I can confirm either way, though the head material will certainly be the easiest way to check.
Regards
Paul

Ok if I know what's kind of Rover engine is fitted in my car, could you suggest where buy any parts to this engine?I've had contact to Meteor Spares Service, but they are specialist in pre 1950 Rovers. To be honest everything is working fine at the moment(touch the wood
),but never knows. In the season I'm using my Rover as a wedding car and if something brake down don't have to waste time for searching parts supplier,I hope you understand
At the moment have a few doubts and hope that somebody can help.
First:in my car there's no front shock absorbers and really don;t why and where should to be located. There are just springs only, and driving for any dumps are terrible.
Maybe someone can explain it and attach any drawing, photos etc how it should looks.
What about suspensions(front and rear) lubrication?
Many thanks for all advices

Re: Hello everyone.Who can help to recognize engine in my P3
Hi Raf,
Whereabouts are you? Did you know that The RSR has published both a parts list and a Workshop manual for the P3 that could help answer your questions?
As regards no shock absorbers, the 1948 cars had Armstrong lever arm shock absorbers and the 1949 cars had the vertical type at the front. Since the lever arms on the 1948 cars form part of the suspension linkage, its possible that your shockers are there and need topping up with oil.
Look for a brass plug between the 2 fixing studs about midway between the pivot and rubber buffer. This line drawing may help.
