I have a Rover P4 105S and have been racing her in the HRDC (Historic Racing Drivers Club) races for the past 12 months. She has been a race car for just over 2 years and when I bought her in December 2010, took over the development of her. I refer to the car as a her and have named her Bluebell.

She is completely unique and has very excitedly had her first invitation to race at the Goodwood Revival in September 2012 taking part in the two-part St Mary's Trophy.

I have set up a website for her so that any enthusiasts can be updated on her progress. She has come 3rd in Class twice, which was a huge achievement and has created her own following, from Brasil to Australia!

Welcome to the Forum. I am really pleased to see you have joined up, and that you have provided a link to your site. I have been very interested in your car since first hearing about it when with the previous owner. I think it is really great that you are continuing to develop and use the car. There can be no doubt that a P4 is generally not considered a very logical racing car though a member of the RSR has campaigned one in the past. Personally I think it an inspired choice, even with the inevitable challenges it presents. The comparatively low power to weight ratio is no doubt proving to be a challenge, but I would be very interested to know how you are gradually extracting additional power from the engine, and what steps you have / will be taking to reduce weight. What are the permitted modifications under the HRDC - I assume you are having to retain glass windows etc rather than replace with plexiglass.

Congratulations on the invite to Goodwood, quite an achievement to receive that.
