Hello , My name is Dave Dudley-Toole from Birmingham, England. I am a keen Classic Car `nut`with a special soft spot for Rovers. I have the 1948 P3-75 Graber Convertible 68 ELK (affectionately known as Elkie), a 1964 P4-110 AON 99B (known as Rosie), a 1959 P4-110 reg. no. 3244 AC this car was owned by the Works and was originally built as a left hand drive 60 and used as a works development car and was converted to 110 spec in 1962, unusually, it has a very neat Works power steering system, the down side to this car is that it needs a total restoration.
We have just spent a very pleasant 3 days on the RSR stand at the Classic Motor Show at the NEC, I had Elkie on the stand and she attracted quite a bit of interest, it was great to meet so many members, and I think we signed up well over a dozen new members, so all in all a very successful show.
see you all soon, Dave.

Hello Job, many thanks for the welcome,
We were in Arnhem last March with the Rover P4 Drivers Guild, we had a really great time, but it was a very sobering experience visiting all of the War Cemeteries, but we hope to be back there next September, hopefully in my Graber bodied P3.
cheers for now, Dave.

Hello John, many thanks for the welcome.
I`m sorry I missed you at the NEC, I think it was a great show this year, inspite of the current financial crisis, I thought that our stand looked really great with a good spread of cars, and I think we signed up over a dozen new members. I`m glad you liked Elkie, we love her to bits, hopefully we should get the body finished by next Easter, and then start the long slog to get her back together,
Cheers for now, Dave.

Hi Dave, I was showing my mate Elkie and we were admiring the wood at the top of the door where it goes from an outside arc to an inside arc, nice bit of work there. Keep us up to speed on the forum with the progress

Hi Dave,
Glad you made it on the forum we need wisdom like yours now and then. Perhaps you could let the forum know more about P3 and P4 steering boxes as I believe it is a more common problem then many are aware of.
Thanks
Dirk
