Hi all
Some may know me already, I'm fairly active in the Series Land Rover circles but I also have a P4. One day fancy a P2 or 3 but haven't managed it yet!
My daily drive for the past 14 years has been my 1972 S3 88", but I also have a 1967 Carawagon (6-cylinder) and waiting in the wings for rebuild is a 1955 86" S1. The P4 we have is a 1960 80 which I have converted to 200tdi power - a superb vehicle for long distance travel on a budget!
I have also found myself getting very busy rebuilding Burman Douglas steering boxes, as a manual machinist who has worked on mainline steam for the past 11 years remaking obsolete components has become somewhat second nature!
Cheers!
