Two ways to tell the model, although I suspect it is a 10hp.

look at the offside engine bearer and the engine number is stamped there. Look at the mounting face for the rocker cover on the head and the hp rating for the car is stamped there.

BJB 70 was issued between May and October 1938 in Berkshire.

802299 is a 1938 10hp Saloon.

Condition: Poor, engine seized and in pieces been told all parts are there but obviously dont know

I would suggest selling the car complete as it is on an internet auction site maybe £1000 would be achievable in this condition to the right person. Breaking up for parts would be an option, but its a lot of work for maybe less return.This is only a personal view.
