Afternoon all.

I'm Chris and I'm an 800aholic. :D I'm 27 and I've been driving 800s since I was 19. It's my old mans fault, he's had them for years.

I've only got 4 at the minute but I've owned nearly 50 over the last few years.

It was a 1987 Rover 820SE auto saloon that got us back on Rovers and we thought this was a lovely car however its reliability was terrible for a then 2 year old 25k mileage car almost everything went wrong in the 2 years we owned it and it this was the last modern car we had.

Now we have a selection of classic Rovers and Land Rovers from 1938 to 1973 but no modern P6 onwards versions ;)

Its nice that soemone is keeping them going as they will become rarer than the running board Rovers soons as the electroniocs and plastics degrade

Welcome aboard Chris. It is really great to see people with younger Rovers are interested in keeping them going. I ran a Mk2 827 Sterling for about 3 years, very relaxed motorway cruiser. I'm afraid it got ousted by a Rover 75 when it started needing more attention than I could devote to it.

Regards
Paul
