Rover Sports Register Forum

Hi to everyone on the forum.I'm based in the north west of England (stockport) spent most of my time in the motor trade,body and paint.Over the years have restored quite a few cars for other people but now not working due to ill health I have recently looked at another make to restore but its already been stripped and some worked carried out.I have always had a soft spot for Rovers as my dad had a P3. Could any forum members advise me where to look for a project.IE are there many advertised in Freewheel,there is a rover 10 on here in southhampton to far for me the guy has asked regarging the value but no one has answered his post as yet.Any help would be appreciated .Thanks Dave.

Welcome to the Forum, sorry no one has replied as yet. There are a number of cars advertisied on the club website (www.thersr.co.uk) and in Freewheel. AS regards a project - where do you want to start? I notice that therre is a 1946 P2 (a 12 saloon) on ebay at the moment that seems to be relatively complete but needs a rust killing exercise and a respray.
