Hi guys

Just bought P3 751949, propably one of the latest one (not sure) reg on 30,03,49. Car has ben deliverd to my place in Poland. Just find in paper work that one of prievious owner has ben registred to this club. Car need to be striped down, engine, chassis etc…and put back as in factory Never had before Rover like this but I am quite happy when look on it. Before start renovation I am looking to find out small bits about this car. I was checking yours forum last few days ago and now I know that my one is 6 lights one (chassis number). This is my first post and a quite stupid first question… I am looking no pictures on rovers p3 and I have no idea how you could say one is 4 light other 6. To me they looks the same.

Hi Patrick,

Welcome to the forum - I am sure there are people more knowledgeable on the P3's than myself who will be able to help you out with your restoration questions. The 4 light / 6 light refers to the number of windows - yours is 6 light as there are 3 on each side - the 4 light has 2 on each side.

Good luck with your project!

Neal

May I also say Welcome : The wife and I were in Poland last year, stayed in Krakow and travelled all over your country, we loved it, Warsaw was great, Auschwitz & Schindlers Factory were particularily moving....but in February it was VERY cold !!

hey,,well February is not the best time of the year for traveling in this part of Europe :)too much snow etc etc... a while ago we had a little classic cars meeting in my place with is very close to Germany and not far from Czech republic..We had a morning tea in Poland, German sausage for lunch and Czech lager after dinner...
