This Rover 14 6 light was restored by an Ian MacFarlane in Giffnock, Glasgow in the 1980s/90s to a very high standard, luckily using the original interior trim. This partly explains the Renfrewshire HS registration number, although Ian did buy it from a family in Stepps on the north side of Glasgow. Ian was more into restoring cars than using them and eventually sold it on and for a while was part of the "Stirlings of Tilicoutry" furnature emporium car collection. Being the 1937 model it has the earlier 1577 cc 6 cylinder engine.
